Business Development Specialist – C-Pay

Job Purpose

The Business Development Specialist will drive C-Pay’s growth across the education sector by identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with prospective customers, and converting qualified opportunities into business.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across all education segments.
• Build relationships with schools, universities, education providers, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Generate qualified leads through prospecting, referrals, networking, events, and market research.
• Present C-Pay’s solutions and value proposition to prospective customers.
• Manage opportunities throughout the sales cycle, from initial engagement through negotiation and closing.
• Maintain an accurate and healthy sales pipeline and provide regular updates on progress.
• Prepare proposals and support commercial negotiations.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and other internal teams to support growth initiatives.
• Achieve assigned business development and revenue targets.

Qualifications & Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or a related commercial role.
• Experience in EdTech, FinTech, payments, SaaS, or technology solutions is preferred.
• Good understanding of the education sector and B2B sales environment.
• Proven experience in lead generation, pipeline development, and closing opportunities.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Results-driven with the ability to work against measurable targets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
