Job Description:
Section
- Achieve sales targets and driving revenue for the section by suggesting promotional actions and other sales techniques.
- Oversee product displays and ensuring items are presented attractively and in line with brand standards.
- Monitoring inventory levels, managing stock
- replenishment, and coordinating with the stock team to ensure availability of products in the section.
- Ensure items are correctly tagged and barcoded & conduct random stock takes.
- Resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records & identify and address issues like theft, damage, or system errors.
- Implement and enforce loss prevention strategies to minimize stock shrinkage due to theft, damage, or administrative errors.
- Track & analyze sales data, customer feedback, stock levels, and staff performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Staff
- Leading and motivating staff & solve their issues to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
- Conduct regular training sessions to keep staff updated on product knowledge, sales techniques, stock handling & high level of customer service.
- Schedule staff shifts and manage daily operations within the section in coordination with the branch managers.
- Provide regular feedback and performance evaluations to the team in coordination with the branch managers.
- Enforce store policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Customers
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure that customers receive prompt and attentive service.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify areasfor improvement and implement necessary changes.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as shift manager or in other managerial position
- Knowledge of retail management best practices
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organizing and leadership skills
- Commercial awareness
- Analytical mind and familiarity with data analysis principles
- Excellent knowledge of retail management software
- BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field is desirable
