Job Purpose
To oversee and optimize all operational aspects of the factoring lending lifecycle, where this role ensures the efficient, compliant, and high-quality delivery of factoring products and services, driving operational excellence, cost efficiency, and exceptional customer experience. The Head of Operations will lead and develop high-performing teams across various operational functions, implement the best practices, and contribute to the company's strategic growth objectives.
Duties &Responsibilities
-Strategic Leadership & Planning:
-Develop and execute the operational strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
-Contribute to theformulation of strategic plans, policies, and procedures for mortgage operations.
-Identify and implement strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency,optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement across all operational areas & Analyze market trends, regulatory changes, and technological
advancements to identify opportunities for operational innovation.
- Operations Management & Oversight:
-Oversee the end-to-end mortgage lending process,including loan origination, processing, underwriting, closing, funding, and servicing. Manage and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for all operational functions, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) and production targets are met or exceeded. Ensure data integrity and accuracy within all operational systems. Drive process optimization initiatives, identifying
inefficiencies and implementing best practices to improve throughput, accuracy, and customer satisfaction & oversee the management of third-party vendors and service providers (e.g., appraisers, title companies, document management) to ensure quality and adherence to service standards.
-Team Leadership & Development:
-Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of operations professionals, including managers and individual contributors.
-Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration within the operations department.
-Set clear goals, performance expectations, and conduct regular performance evaluations & Provide
coaching, training, and professional development opportunities to enhance team skills and capabilities.
-Customer Experience:
-Champion a strong customer-centric approach throughout the operations lifecycle.
-Ensure all operational teams consistently deliver exceptional customer service & identify and resolve complex operational issues and customer complaints promptly and professionally.
Job Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a
related field, with minimum experience of 7 Years in financial service.
- Extensive knowledge of the end-to-end mortgage lending process, including origination,
processing, underwriting, closing, funding, and servicing.
- Proven track record of managing large, complex loan portfolios and scaling operational
processes.
- Strong understanding of CBE and FRA regulations, particularly those pertaining to
credit risk, consumer lending, and real estate finance.
-In-depth knowledge of state and federal lending laws and regulations.
-Unwavering integrity, ethical conduct, and a strong commitment to corporate governance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and
market trends.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills in both Arabic and English (essential for
engaging with local regulators & internal teams)
