Mechanical Section Head

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and monitor all site mechanical activities (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, piping, etc.).
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical modifications to ensure compliance and avoid rework.
• Plan and manage material take-offs, procurement requests, delivery schedules, and inventory control.
• Supervise site engineers, subcontractors, and manpower allocation to ensure smooth workflow.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (civil, electrical, architectural) to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
• Ensure effective utilization of tools, equipment, and resources within budget.
• Support the Construction Manager in progress tracking, reporting, and resolving technical challenges.
• Participate in coordination and progress meetings, providing insights and solutions.
• Ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery within scope, time, and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8-10 years of experience in construction projects.
• Previous experience in a Section Head role is a strong plus.
• Solid experience in site mechanical works (HVAC, firefighting, plumbing).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant engineering software.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage teams, subcontractors, and site operations.
