INGOT Brokers has offices and operation hubs in Jordan, UAE, Australia, Pakistan, Vietnam, Turkey, and Iraq to name a few, with a rapidly growing number of employees. In the Jordan office alone, the company has approximately 110 employees, with the number growing steadily.

 

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing and reporting accounting budgets, and controlling financial spending flow between HQ and GCC offices. core responsibilities are typically to liaise and ensure smooth cash inflow from HQ towards GCC current (Dubai rep office and Doha) and future offices.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Normalize, request and manage Month-to-Month budgets from HQ in a timely manner
  • Anticipate and forecast Quarterly & Semi-Annual budgets including but not limited to tax
  • Reconcile, examine AR/AP financial budgets, record keeping for GCC offices toward HQ
  • Request funds in petty cash expenses from reporting matrix
  • Follow up on banking account balances, maintain healthy transactional banking behavior
  • Immediate Reporting/audit of budget discrepancies, the third-party exaggerated invoices, differences and potential time lag of funds receipt, banking relation issues.

 

Requirements

  • High level of escalation and alert reporting
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Expert in time management
  • Cost efficiency planning
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance
  • 2-3 years in a comprehensive accounting role, AR/AP, strong experience in budgeting & forecasting, familiarity with procurement, familiar with UAE and GCC tax laws
  • Dealing with UAE banking
