Altibbi is the first and largest digital health platform in the Arab region that offers telemedicine consultation services, allowing patients to connect directly with doctors via audio calls and chats. Altibbi also provides a wide range of telehealth services for different clients and insurance companies in the MENA region.



Scope of work: The quality assurance and patients’ safety officer is a key appointment in the Medical Team in Altibbi, s/he shall take a lead in the development, implementation, monitoring and review of QA procedures. The QA Officer is also responsible for implementing all incident reporting activities, taking proper and immediate actions on the incidents as well as proposing creative solutions to reduce the incidents and errors.


This is a position of responsibility that requires the ability to work autonomously and the confidence to provide sound direction and guidance to colleagues, both junior and senior, in respect of quality assurance


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine processes to ensure patient safety and quality standards.
  • Serve as internal liaison to identify, track, and meet deliverables
  • Keep accurate and detailed documentation of all the history of the incidents and corrective measures, and actions taken.
  • Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits.
  • Developed periodic reports on the different incident reports, showing patterns and trends to capture and monitor the progress.
  • Conduct periodic analysis of the data and present the results to the QA and medical team frequently.
  • Support the quality assurance and safety manager to ensure the development of QA management and assess in monitoring implementation and its effectiveness.
  • Any other such duty as deemed commensurate with the role.

Personnel Specification And Requirements


  • A bachelor’s degree in a medical field: (MD, nursing, or PharmD).
  • 1-2 years of experience working in process implementation or procedure development and/or review.
  • Knowledge and understanding of quality assurance in the medical field context and preferably in patient’ satisfaction.
  • Proven experience of working in data analysis and drafting quantitative/ qualitative reports
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Intermediate MS excel skills
  • Proven ability to work under one own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Accuracy and attention to details.
  • A postgraduate degree in related health management disciplines or monitoring and evaluation (M&E) is a plus.
