About the role:

In MoneyFellows, we believe that DevOps Engineers are our key players defining and implementing our containerization technology strategies. They will also design our architecture and define our roadmap while maintaining our environment health and utilizing resources and cost. Key responsibilities include:  

• Review and enhance pipelines for APIs and mobile applications
• Review and enhance documentation of platform infrastructure
• Build Monitoring health checks
• Build end-to-end auto-failover platform components
• Architect and Maintain scaling and growth strategie
• Ensure security and compliance measures (PCI)
• Monitor and configure triggers for all pipelines
• Maintain platform health checks and up-time
• Develop, Execute and Maintain scaling and growth strategies
• Explore new tools and technologies
• Ingest automation of unit, integration and e2e testing in pipelines

About you?

The ideal candidate has exceptionally high ownership, excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to work with agility in a fast-paced environment. They would also be insanely focused on demonstrating excellence in service delivery and problem-solving, breaking down complex information into understandable and actionable items. You will be an active and contributory member in People team, with a direct impact on the culture and business trajectory in your country.

Other qualifications include:

• 4+ years of recent experience of relevant work
• Solid experience with Containerisation (Docker)
• Solid experience with Orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, ECS)
• Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines (jenkins, GitActions)
• Solid experience writing scripts and yaml
• Solid experience with Serverless Architecture
• Solid experience with AWS services deployments
• Solid experience building platform logging and monitoring
• Solid experience working in Agile Teams
• Solid experience with mentoring and guiding team members
• Experience with keys and secrets management and rotation
• Experience with PCI compliance
• Experience with code scanners (SonarQube, WhiteSource)
• Experience with Terraform or Ansible
• Experience with Hot Deployments
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools
