Mechanical Engineer

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a proven track record in managing large-scale industrial projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the specification, installation, and commissioning of heavy mechanical plant equipment, including pumps, valves, and filtration systems. This role requires not only a deep understanding of Saudi Arabian standards but also global experience, ensuring the application of international best practices in the delivery of complex industrial solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, specification, and procurement of heavy mechanical plant equipment.
• Manage installation and commissioning of pumps, valves, filtration systems, and related mechanical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with KSA regulations while integrating international engineering standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Review technical designs, proposals, and documentation to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Conduct performance testing, inspections, and troubleshooting during installation and commissioning phases.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Ensure adherence to safety, reliability, and sustainability standards throughout all project stages.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in similar projects.
• Demonstrated global project experience, with strong familiarity with KSA engineering standards.
• Proven expertise in the installation, commissioning, and operation of heavy mechanical equipment (pumps, valves, filtration systems).
• Strong understanding of industrial plant operations, safety regulations, and quality assurance practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects.
• Knowledge of emerging mechanical engineering technologies and sustainable practices.
• Professional certifications in mechanical or project engineering.
