1. Line Representation by ensuring the best interest of the line by overseeing and coordinating all aspects of their calls to Aqaba, with the various internal and external stakeholders.
2. Serve the Line by reporting to all issues and circulations related to their business, answering their queries, and updating the Sales and Operations about the line's service, tariffs, and any modification that follows (transit time, ports served…etc.).
3. Develop the business; by compiling sales and market data, analyzing marketing data, performing the required sales, and marketing assessment and reports setting sales objectives, developing business plans, and providing the line with the needed leads.
4. Coordinate with the Sales Department regarding the line's objectives, and the monthly marketing and sales plan according to the set objectives.
5. Achieves business targets and builds a client base by performing successful sales calls and visits, negotiating rates, closing opportunities, and maintaining a good relationship with clients. Assessing the sales force recommendations regarding the credit list, exchange rate list, discount list, and amendments charging list; resolving and monitoring customer's problems.
6. Ensure professional management of the Documentation and Operations processes of the Line, from container tracking, equipment control, Demurrage, Import and Export Bookings, Container repositioning ..etc.
7. Ensure that all financial requests and transactions are well handled and address seeming delays with management.
8. Developing the required monthly/ quarterly and annual reports to management; sales reports, performance reports, competition, anticipated changes in the market, and any changes in the local market and performing SWOT analysis.
Minimum Requirements/ Qualifications:
· Nationality: Jordanian
· Job-Related Experience:
· Experience in the Shipping Lines/ Forwarding/ NVOCC fields.
· 5+ years of managerial experience in mid to high-level positions
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration/ industrial engineering or any related subjects.
