Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will manage financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide accurate reporting to support the company's financial health and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and reconcile financial discrepancies.
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax and labor regulations.
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
• Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary documentation for audits.
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and submit VAT returns.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for cost efficiency and growth.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are a plus.
• Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP) and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
