HSE Officer

Key Responsibilities:

•         Conduct regular inspections for all facilities to identify potential hazards and environmental impact and recommend corrective action.

•        I nvestigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and develop reports with proper route cause and recommendations for preventing recurrence.

•        Issuing permits to work for internal and external work that have potential risk.

•        Maintain the choosing of appropriate personal protective equipment for workers according to the nature of workplace hazard.

•         Develop and implement risk assessment for the workplace and review accordingly.
•         Follow up with third party contractors for pest control and firefighting inspector.
•         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE considerations into operational planning and daily activities.
•         Maintain HSE records and documentation, including permits, licenses, training records, and incident reports.

     Qualifications:

•         Bachelor’s degree in engineering, administration, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
•         Proven experience (2 years) as an HSE Officer in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the tobacco industry.
•         NEBOSH (IGC), OSHA or ISO 45001 or similar certifications are preferred.
