Role Overview
As a CRM Specialist at Techlab, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing CRM strategies for our clients. You’ll translate business goals into actionable CRM solutions; whether that’s setting up complex workflows, integrating with third-party systems, or designing automation that improves lead handling and sales performance.
You’ll work closely with clients and internal teams to define requirements, lead CRM implementations, and provide ongoing strategic recommendations. This is not just a technical role; you’ll also be expected to take initiative, present your ideas, and think from a strategic marketing and business perspective.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand client business goals and design CRM strategies and workflows accordingly.
- Evaluate, implement, and manage CRM platforms such as Zoho CRM, HubSpot, Freshsales, Salesforce, Pipedrive, and others.
- Lead discovery sessions to identify client needs and translate them into CRM roadmaps and automation flows.
- Create custom lead pipelines, territories, assignments, automations, and reporting dashboards.
- Integrate CRMs with websites, social media platforms, POS systems, e-commerce tools, and CDPs (Customer Data Platforms).
- Set up forms, landing pages, workflows, triggers, and automations (e.g., follow-up emails after form submissions).
- Optimize internal processes like lead scoring, opportunity management, and sales team notifications.
- Prepare polished presentation slides and lead client presentations to explain solutions and project progress.
- Stay up to date with CRM trends, tools, and integration best practices.
- Troubleshoot, test, and train client teams on CRM systems and processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with CRM platforms (Zoho CRM, HubSpot, Salesforce, Freshsales, or others).
- Strong ability to quickly learn and adapt to new CRM platforms and business models.
- Solid understanding of marketing automation, lead lifecycle management, and sales enablement.
- Experience in integrating CRMs with third-party tools (e.g., websites, e-commerce, POS, social media).
- Understanding of Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and their role in unifying customer profiles.
- Exceptional problem-solving and strategic thinking skills; ability to turn a goal into a detailed plan.
- Comfortable preparing and presenting professional slide decks to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is a must.
- Bonus: Experience with APIs, webhook-based integrations, or working alongside developers.
What Success Looks Like in This Role
- You confidently take a client's business target and independently turn it into a working CRM solution.
- You help reduce manual work through automation and provide measurable improvement in lead management and sales process efficiency.
- Clients view you as a trusted consultant, not just a technical implementer.
