About the Role:
First Iraqi Bank (FIB) is looking for HR Officer to support and enhance the Bank’s digital banking channels and integration services.
The Human Resources Officer is responsible for carrying out activities related to the scope of the role within Human Resources, supporting the department’s objective of managing the employee lifecycle, payroll, benefits, and HR operations in a manner that supports the Bank’s needs and compliance requirements. The role ensures the accuracy of outputs, quality of service, and adherence to authorities, policies, and the instructions of the relevant regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the confidentiality of salaries, files, and personal data and do not share them beyond authorized access.
Verify approvals and supporting documents before updating employee data or reflecting changes in systems and payroll.
Execute assigned tasks and transactions accurately and within the specified timeframes in accordance with procedures and authorities.
Review the completeness of data, documents, and approvals before completing or referring the work.
Follow up on open cases, missing requirements, and exceptions until closure or escalation within the specified timeframes.
Update systems and records and maintain evidence and documents accurately and in a traceable manner.
Implement and follow up on recruitment, onboarding, employment changes, leave, and separation procedures in accordance with approved policies and approvals.
Maintain and update employee data and files, verify their accuracy and completeness of documentation, and maintain their confidentiality.
Process or review payroll and benefits inputs, deductions, and adjustments, and ensure the availability of supporting documents and approvals.
Update Human Resources systems, verify data integrity, and process requests and changes within the approved timeframes.
Apply the Bank’s policies, legal requirements, social security requirements, and related instructions within the scope of the role.
Prepare workforce, attendance, leave, payroll, and KPI reports, and verify their consistency with Human Resources records.
Comply with the Bank’s policies and procedures and the instructions of the relevant regulatory authorities, and maintain the confidentiality of the Bank’s, customers’, and employees’ information.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Law, or a field related to the nature of the position.
Relevant experience of usually no less than 2–4 years, with banking sector experience preferred depending on the nature of the position.
Proficiency in using relevant systems and applications, analysis and problem-solving, accuracy and time management, report preparation, communication and teamwork, maintaining confidentiality, and compliance with policies and controls.
