The Payment Gateway Officer visits businesses with apps, websites and online portals every day and
gets them accepting payments through FIB's Payment Gateway. The role covers the full cycle: finding
online businesses, closing the deal, completing KYC, supporting integration until go-live, and growing
their online payment volumes.
Daily Responsibilities
1. Find — Survey the region to map businesses and government Entities with apps, websites and
online portals (e-commerce, delivery, ticketing, education, telecom, billers, service platforms);
build and follow a daily visit plan.
2. Visit Daily — Meet business owners, managers and tech teams every day; present FIB Payment
Gateway clearly; understand their payment flow and needs.
3. Sell & Close — Handle objections, agree terms and close the deal.
4. KYC, Onboarding & Contracts — Make sure every client's KYC and onboarding process is
complete and accurate per Compliance requirements, and that the signed contract is in place
before the client goes live.
5. Integration Support — Connect the client's developers with FIB's technical team; share API
documentation and guide them through testing; follow up until the client is live.
6. Go-Live & Activation — Confirm the first live transaction; follow up on clients who are integrated
but not transacting.
7. Client Support — Resolve issues (integration errors, failed payments, settlement, refunds) or
escalate them quickly.
8. Grow Volumes — Track each client's online payment volume and push growth through new use
cases and features.
9. Inform Clients — Update clients on new Payment Gateway features, updates and regulations.
10. Marketing & Co-Branding — Act as the link between FIB Marketing and onboarded businesses to
run co-branding and joint campaigns that reach more customers.
11. Report — Enter every visit, lead and deal into the system daily; keep records accurate and
current.
12. Market Feedback — Gather client feedback and competitor offers; suggest improvements and
new Payment Gateway features.
New Online Services — Promote and onboard clients to any additional online or digital payment services
FIB launches in the future, as assigned by management.

• Daily client visits
• New businesses signed to Payment Gateway
• Clients live (integrated and transacting)
• Online payment volume and value
• Time from signing to go-live
• KYC files accepted first time (zero rejections)
Compliance Rules
• No client goes live without completed KYC, Compliance approval and a signed contract.
• Check that the client's website or app and business type are allowed under FIB policy.
• Follow FIB, AML and CBI rules; report any suspicious business or activity immediately.
Requirements
• Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in financial services or technology.
• Basic understanding of online payments, apps and APIs.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and complaint-handling skills.
• Calm under pressure and able to handle rejection.
• Strong multitasking and organization skills.
• Must have own car and a valid driving license.
• Arabic is required; Business is a Plus.
