Database Administrator - Intern

Overview:

The intern will gain hands-on exposure to database administration tasks across our technology stack, including Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL and Oracle. Responsibilities will cover database monitoring, performance tuning support, backup and recovery procedures, and query optimization basics based on the time availability and the intern understanding. 

Requirements:

• Senior-year students or fresh graduates in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL 
• Familiarity with at least one RDBMS (e.g. SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle) 
• Basic knowledge of NoSQL concepts is a plus (e.g. MongoDB) 
• Comfortable working in a Windows and/or Linux environment 
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
