Mid-Level / Senior Java & Spring Boot Developer - Remote

Client Project | 3-Month Full-Time Engagement

We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients for a Mid-Level / Senior Java & Spring Boot Developer to join an exciting 3-month project.

The selected candidate will work full-time throughout the project duration, contributing to the development, optimization, testing, and maintenance of backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Work with Hibernate / JPA, including:
• Entity mapping and relationships
• Transaction management
• Query optimization and performance tuning
• Work extensively with MySQL, including:
• Writing complex SQL queries
• Query optimization and performance tuning
• Understanding database indexing and query execution
• Use Redis for:
• Caching
• Session management
• Distributed locks
• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability.
• Use Git for version control and collaborative development.
• Work within an Agile development environment, participating in planning, stand-ups, reviews, and other team ceremonies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and performance-related issues.
• Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to deliver project requirements on time.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional experience in Java backend development.
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of Hibernate / JPA, including:
• Entity mapping and relationships
• Transaction management
• Query tuning and optimization
• Strong experience with MySQL, including writing and optimizing SQL queries.
• Practical experience with Redis, particularly caching, session management, and distributed locks.
• Good understanding of unit testing and writing maintainable, testable code.
• Proficiency with Git and experience working in Agile development teams.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance-optimization skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a development team.
• Availability to work full-time for the entire 3-month project duration.
