CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB: (What is the reason that this job exists; what is the overall aim of this role?)

✓ Assist Store Manager in running store operation in accordance with Shawarmer standards,

✓ Assistant manager must be able to create strong leadership, define operation plans, provide trainings, oversee subordinates and harmonize the available resources with both internal and external resources.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

✓ Help Store Manager in creating restaurant targets.

✓ Help in driving incremental sales growth by encouraging suggestive selling techniques daily.

✓ Must help Store Manager in controlling (cost control, cash flow, expenses etc.) and their impact on the Restaurant.

✓ Ensures all cash handling and cash register functions are performed in an accurate and consistent manner, and in full accordance with company procedures.

✓ Support Store in responding to Customer complaints to achieve recovery

✓ Support Store Manager in maintaining the equipment

✓ Help Store Manager implement new marketing programs, including the display of POP marketing/merchandising materials and corresponding training of employees.

✓ Drives product quality, taking corrective action when necessary to ensure quality.

✓ Assist Store Manager in preparing restaurant’s report in daily, weekly and quarterly basis

✓ Ensures the proper types and amounts of materials, supplies and food are ordered and stocked

✓ Assist Store Manager in creating a fun/challenging environment, driving monthly/quarterly communication and involvement of all employees by celebrating successes, rewarding positive performance, and providing leadership/direction for improved results.

✓ Assist in conduction in-store training processes and procedures for all employees and follows up to ensure thorough execution of training standards.

✓ Executes detailed and timely Store Orientations for new employees.

✓ Supports and directs employees by coaching, counselling and teaching to accomplish tasks and remove barriers to performance satisfaction.

✓ Assist in facilitating the development of all employees using the Performance Appraisal Review form and other tools to enable career advancement.

✓ Assist in Managing employee relations issues as directed by the HR Policy and communicates to appropriate supervisors in a timely manner.

✓ To train shift Supervisor in developing him to next level

✓ Run Store in the absence of Store Manager

✓ Run Shift or coach Shift Manager on how to run a shift

QUALIFICATIONS

✓ degree holder and/or two to three years management experience in a food service and/or retail environment. Restaurant experience is a plus.

✓ Demonstrated ability to positively affect sales and profitability.

✓ Demonstrated ability to select, retain and develop employees/management.

✓ Solid working knowledge and troubleshooting skills related to the management of various financial statements/reports.

✓ Possesses a high degree of drive with a proven track record of achieving results.

✓ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

✓ Demonstrated track record for flexibility and urgency in prioritizing and organizing projects and duties for all employees.

✓ Proficiency in computer skills, i.e. back office systems, Microsoft Word, Excel.
