Job Objectives:
The primary objective of this role is to drive lead engagement and conversion by managing high-volume outbound communications. The Mortgage Agent ensures that prospective clients are qualified efficiently, documented accurately, and transitioned to the appropriate partners, all while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory compliance and professional standards.
Responsibilities and duties:
Call Management:
- Execute outbound calls to prospective leads and manage inbound inquiries routed through the dialer system.
Lead Qualification:
- Evaluate prospective clients against established criteria and coordinate meeting times with assigned partners without delay.
Documentation & Accuracy:
- Maintain exhaustive records of all call attempts, interactions, and outcomes in the designated tracking system, ensuring data integrity before submission.
Script & Compliance Adherence:
- Utilize only approved scripts and disclosures; ensure no unauthorized promises are made to prospective clients.
Workflow Discipline:
- Strictly follow call attempt limits, follow-up schedules, and standardized handling procedures.
Issue Resolution:
- Identify and correct data discrepancies during routine reviews and escalate complaints with legal or regulatory implications immediately.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Business / finance preferred).
- Experience: Proven background in a call center, telemarketing, or high-volume customer service environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of mortgage or financial services terminology is an asset.
- Language Proficiency: Minimum C1 Level English
Years of Experience:
Required: 1–3 years of experience in a customer-facing or phone-based sales/support role.
Competencies / Behavioral Requirements:
- Professionalism & Empathy: Ability to maintain a composed, professional, and empathetic tone in all customer interactions.
- Accountability: Reliable and self-motivated to manage rigorous follow-up schedules effectively.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in data entry and commitment to following complex compliance guidelines.
- Resilience: Ability to handle high-volume interactions and repetitive tasks with consistent energy.
Technical Requirements
- Proficiency with VoIP systems and CRM software.
- Basic data entry skills and familiarity with digital tracking sheets (Excel/Google Sheets).
- General computer literacy and ability to navigate multiple platforms during live calls.
Communication and Interaction:
Build compliant, persuasive rapport with prospective clients while maintaining seamless alignment with internal Sales and Client Experience partners to ensure successful lead hand-overs.
