Cyber Security Supervisor

Overview:

The Cybersecurity Supervisor supports the cybersecurity manager by overseeing daily security operations and ensuring the team complies with company policies and SAMA cybersecurity regulations. This role focuses on effective monitoring, incident response, and enforcement of security protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise cybersecurity operations, including monitoring alerts, investigating incidents, and escalating as needed.
• Assist in implementing security policies and procedures aligned with the SAMA cybersecurity framework.
• Ensure security tools (firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS) are maintained and monitored effectively.
• Support incident response processes in compliance with SAMA notification requirements.
• Conduct vulnerability remediation and patch management activities following SAMA best practices.
• Deliver security awareness training highlighting SAMA regulations and compliance.
• Document security incidents and support audits to demonstrate adherence to SAMA standards.
• Collaborate with IT teams to embed security best practices across systems and networks.
• Mentor junior cybersecurity staff and support professional development.
• Stay informed on cybersecurity trends and SAMA regulatory updates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• From 5 to 8 years of experience.
• Working experience with SAMA cybersecurity framework and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and incident response processes.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple security tasks under pressure.
