HSE Officer

We are seeking a proactive HSE Officer to oversee the daily implementation of health, safety, and environmental protocols on construction sites. The role ensures a safe working environment by conducting site audits, enforcing compliance, and promptly addressing potential hazards.

Key Qualifications & Requirements (Mandatory)

Educational Foundation: Minimum of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with at least 7 years of professional experience (degree type does not affect required experience). Note: Secondary education is preferred, but candidates with a university degree and relevant experience are acceptable.

Specialized Project Experience: At least 3 years of experience in construction and infrastructure projects with a focus on HSE implementation and supervision. Demonstrable expertise in executing safety audits and resolving site hazards. No specific certifications are mandatory.

Core Duties & Responsibilities

Safety Implementation: Enforce safety procedures in accordance with the HSE Management System, ensuring compliance across all construction activities.

Auditing & Inspections: Lead regular site safety audits, collaborate with site inspectors, and identify corrective actions for any safety issues.

Hazard Reporting: Identify, document, and report potential safety risks to the Senior HSE Executive and Resident Engineer promptly.

Collaboration & Training: Work closely with site teams to raise awareness of safety practices and support HSE initiatives.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of safety audits, incidents, and compliance actions.

Preferred Skills

Strong knowledge of KSA safety standards and international HSE best practices. Excellent observation, reporting, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and proactively resolve safety challenges on-site.
