Job Overview: Project Coordinator (IT / Software Projects)
The Project Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth execution of IT and software projects. The role focuses on coordination, documentation, tracking, and communication between teams and clients.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in planning and tracking project activities.
- Maintain project schedules, meeting notes, and documentation.
- Follow up with team members to ensure assigned tasks are completed on time.
- Support communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and share regular status reports and dashboards.
- Help monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Manage project documentation, contracts, and change logs.
- Support in testing coordination and deliverable reviews.
- Organize project meetings, record minutes, and update action items.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile principles.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Trello, MS Project, or similar).
- Excellent communication and time-management abilities.
- Team player with attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar coordination or administrative role.
