Solution Architect

Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic, experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and technical direction of Classera’s most complex customer projects and global tender responses. This individual will be at the core of our go-to-market and delivery success—crafting scalable, innovative solutions tailored to unique client needs, especially for high-impact and customized deployments.

This is a cross-functional leadership role requiring deep collaboration with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams. You will be the technical anchor during pre-sales, bid defense, and post-award execution phases.

Core Responsibilities

1. Tender & Proposal Architecture

• Own the technical design and architecture of solutions submitted as part of public/private tender responses globally.
• Review and analyze RFPs/RFIs to extract business, functional, and compliance requirements.
• Translate requirements into robust architectural designs that leverage Classera’s modular platform and third-party integrations.
• Collaborate with pre-sales and bid teams to produce:
• Architecture diagrams
• Technical solution documents
• Compliance checklists
• Resource and timeline estimates
• Participate in bid presentations and defense meetings with potential customers and partners.

2. Custom Project Scoping & Design

• Lead deep-dive discovery sessions with enterprise clients to scope large, customized implementations.
• Map client use cases to Classera’s existing capabilities and identify necessary custom development.
• Create solution blueprints, detailed technical specifications, integration workflows, and interface documentation.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to validate feasibility and ensure clean handoff to development teams.
• Maintain oversight during implementation to ensure adherence to design intent and client expectations.

3. Cross-Team Collaboration & Best Practices

• Act as the technical advisor to Sales and Delivery during pre-sales, deal structuring, and risk assessments.
• Provide feedback to Product teams about recurring client needs, feature gaps, and integration demands to shape roadmap direction.
• Maintain and continuously improve a central repository of reusable architecture templates, solution models, integration patterns, and reference implementations.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 6 years in solution architecture, enterprise presales, or consulting — preferably in SaaS, EdTech, or large-scale digital transformation environments.
• Proven track record in designing and delivering large public sector or regulated industry solutions.
• Experience with high-scale system design, cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS or Azure), microservices, APIs, SSO, and data security frameworks.
• Ability to architect for scalability, reliability, and customization across multiple platforms and client environments.
• Skilled in writing technical proposals and client-facing solution documentation.
• Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and presenting technical solutions in both business and technical language.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively across time zones and with culturally diverse teams.
• Fluent in English (Arabic and/or French is a strong plus).
• Willing to travel internationally as needed for client discovery, scoping sessions, and implementation oversight.
