Classera is seeking an accomplished Senior Bid Desk Manager to spearhead the creation, orchestration, and submission of high-stakes RFPs, RFIs, and tender responses spanning the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia. Based in Egypt—and collaborating daily across borders—you will sit at the nexus of sales strategy, content quality, and international expansion, ensuring every proposal showcases Classera’s innovation and global reach.


Core Responsibilities


End-to-End Bid Leadership


  • Own the bid journey from opportunity qualification through final delivery for government, enterprise, and education-sector pursuits worldwide.
  • Synchronize cross-functional input—sales, presales, product, legal, finance—to deliver accurate, localized submissions on deadline.
  • Run gate reviews and sign-offs to guarantee compliance with client specifications and Classera’s internal governance regardless of region.


Strategy, Story, and Differentiation


  • Craft concise executive summaries and deal-specific win themes that resonate with diverse regional priorities while echoing Classera’s global value.
  • Curate and expand a centralized, multilingual knowledge base of templates, case studies, and technical narratives.
  • Mine win/loss data to spot patterns, refine content, and boost future conversion rates.


Multiregional Collaboration


  • Serve as the hub for dispersed bid teams, coordinating contributors across MENA, Africa, and Southeast Asia.
  • Host virtual huddles, content sprints, and alignment workshops that bridge time zones and cultures.
  • Coach junior writers and help embed a consistent global proposal methodology.


Governance & Compliance


  • Ensure every submission meets local regulatory rules, RFP instructions, brand guidelines, and pricing policies.
  • Oversee document version control and accuracy for simultaneous global bids.
  • Track pipeline health and KPIs, reporting status and insights to leadership.


Qualifications & Background


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related discipline (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years leading complex, multinational bids or proposals.
  • Demonstrated wins in public-sector, donor-funded, and enterprise deals across several regions.
  • Familiarity with international procurement frameworks (UN, World Bank, regional government protocols).
  • Sound knowledge of bidding landscapes in MENA, Africa, and Southeast Asia.


Skills & Competencies


  • Exceptional project-management prowess and ability to juggle overlapping global deadlines.
  • Polished business writing and presentation skills in English; Arabic or French an advantage.
  • Keen eye for detail, cultural agility, and resilience under pressure.
  • Experience with proposal automation platforms (e.g., RFPIO, Loopio) and CRM systems such as HubSpot.
