We’re searching for a technically savvy, education-minded Pre-Sales Engineer who will help power Classera’s worldwide growth by leading compelling solution engagements across emerging and mature education markets. In this role you’ll guide strategic sales pursuits alongside ministries, school groups, universities, development agencies, and other global stakeholders—positioning Classera’s platforms as catalysts for learning innovation and institutional success.


Core Duties


1. Solution Discovery & Live Demonstrations


  • Collaborate with regional sales teams to collect business and pedagogical requirements, then craft tailored demos that resonate with local curricula, policies, and workflows.
  • Showcase Classera’s platforms to senior decision makers—including Ministries of Education, foundations, K-12 networks, and higher-education leaders—highlighting measurable impact on teaching, learning, and operations.
  • Configure proof-of-concept environments that account for region-specific processes, technical constraints, and compliance needs.


2. Technical Advisory & Bid Support


  • Serve as the primary technical resource throughout the sales cycle, fielding questions on architecture, integrations (SIS/LMS/ERP), scalability, data security, and deployment models (SaaS, private cloud, on-prem).
  • Author detailed proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and tender documents that align with international procurement rules and donor guidelines.
  • Guide localization efforts around data-sovereignty laws, privacy regulations, and hosting mandates in each target country.


3. Stakeholder Engagement & Trust Building


  • Engage with technical, academic, and executive stakeholders to uncover goals, challenges, and transformation roadmaps.
  • Foster credibility with government bodies, school alliances, NGOs, and multilateral organizations by communicating clearly and delivering value-oriented solutions.


4. Cross-Functional & Global Alignment


  • Liaise with product, implementation, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless hand-off from pre-sales to deployment.
  • Empower partners in Classera’s ecosystem through enablement workshops, sandbox access, and joint demonstrations.


5. Representation & Travel


  • Travel internationally (≈30–40%) to lead demos, attend customer meetings, and represent Classera at ed-tech exhibitions, conferences, and summits.
  • Contribute to thought-leadership initiatives—white papers, panel discussions, and webinars—highlighting innovation in global education.


Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, EdTech, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years in pre-sales engineering, solution consulting, or technical sales—ideally within EdTech, SaaS, or large-scale education-reform programs.
  • Demonstrated success working with governments, school consortia, or international development agencies.
  • Deep knowledge of global education systems and the agility to adapt solutions to diverse cultural and regulatory contexts.
  • Fluent English communication; proficiency in Arabic, French, or Spanish is highly valued.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 40%.
