Logistics Captain

We are looking for a Logistics Captain to join our team in Erbil city.

Contract: Full-Time, Fixed Term

Working Days/Hours: 5 Days/Week, 8 Hours/Day

Job Summary:

As a Logistics Captain, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of delivery drivers. You will also be responsible for preparing driver schedules, handling absenteeism, ensuring adherence to company rules, and overseeing the cashout process. 

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage the schedules for delivery drivers to ensure optimal service coverage.
• Monitor and manage absenteeism to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure drivers fully comply with company policies, including safety, hygiene, and punctuality.
• Oversee the cashout process at the end of driver shifts, ensuring accurate cash reconciliation and reporting.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, providing guidance and resolving operational issues.
• Work alongside other logistics team members to ensure the smooth operation of delivery services.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in logistics or fleet management, including customer service and cash handling.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, especially in scheduling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage and support drivers.
• Ability to solve operational challenges and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Familiarity with cash handling and reconciliation processes.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks.
