Role Overview
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) will lead all government relations activities, acting as the primary liaison between the company and UAE authorities. This role is responsible for the end-to-end management of business setup processes, licensing, and employee immigration formalities. You will ensure full compliance with UAE regulations while providing expert advisory to management and clients on legal structures and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Government Relations & Immigration: Manage all activities including visas, immigration, labor cards, Emirates ID, and medical check-ups, ensuring 100% compliance with UAE regulations.
• Business Setup & Licensing: Lead end-to-end business setup processes for mainland and free zone companies, including new incorporations, license amendments, renewals, and liquidations.
• Authority Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact with UAE government authorities such as DED, MOHRE, GDRFA, ICA, and various Free Zones (specifically DAFZA) to obtain approvals and resolve issues efficiently.
• Regulatory Advisory: Advise management and clients on regulatory requirements, legal structures, and optimal company formation solutions.
• Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure timely processing and accuracy of all submissions while maintaining strong relationships with government entities and service providers.
• Document Legalization: Execute the notarization and attestation of legal documents, including Memorandums of Association (MOA), shareholder resolutions, and Powers of Attorney.
• System Tracking: Maintain meticulous digital records and trackers for all expiry dates (licenses, visas, IDs) to ensure zero penalties.
Requirements
• Technical Skills: Well-versed in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and tracking.
• Portal Expertise: Deep experience navigating UAE government online portals and Freezone systems (specifically DAFZA).
• Experience: 3–5 years of experience as a PRO in the UAE with a proven track record in mainland and free zone company formation.
• Languages: Native-level fluency in Arabic and professional proficiency in English.
• Knowledge: Thorough understanding of UAE Labor Law and immigration procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage high-pressure deadlines.
• Experience in handling RTA vehicle registrations and renewals.
