Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or Electrical Engineering.
-5-10 years of experience in maintenance and repair, with a focus on automation technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging, hands-on training sessions in industrial automation, focusing on both theoretical and practical applications.
• Develop and update training materials to reflect current industry standards and technologies.
• Provide support in PLC and HMI programming, troubleshooting, and industrial communication protocols.
• Train participants in the design and operation of SCADA and DCS systems.
• Educate trainees on configuring and interfacing hardware through PLC, HMI, and SCADA.
• Instruct on AC/DC drives, servo and stepper motors, process and PID controllers, and industrial robotics.
• Guide trainees in the use of AutoCAD for electrical design (Mechanical AutoCAD knowledge is a plus).
• Conduct sessions on industrial instrumentation, including sensor and transmitter calibration.
• Teach data acquisition, storage, and database management basics.
• Ensure a strong understanding of IT networking, LAN/WAN protocols, TCP/IP, and OSI architecture for industrial applications.
Technical Expertise
• Knowledge in PLC and HMI programming and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in Electrical AutoCAD (Mechanical AutoCAD skillsare an advantage).
• Experience with SCADA, DCS systems, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Profibus, Modbus).
• Strong understanding of industrial instrumentation, including various sensors, transmitters, and calibration methods.
• Familiarity with data acquisition, database management, AC/DC drives, servo/stepper motors, process and PID controllers, and industrial robotics.
• IT networking knowledge, including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, and OSI architecture and protocols.
Skills and Competencies:
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse learners.
• Previous experience in industrial training or hands-on teaching is a plus.
