Mid/Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Data Scientist who moves beyond “what happened” to answer “what will happen” and “why.” This role focuses on building predictive models, uncovering drivers of behavior, and designing experiments to optimize decision-making.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to turn complex data into actionable insights that drive business impact.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy predictive models such as churn prediction, lead scoring, and demand forecasting.
• Design and analyze A/B and multivariate tests to support data-driven decisions.
• Work with stakeholders to frame business problems into data science solutions.
• Explore large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and causal relationships.
• Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data pipelines and ensure data availability for modeling.
• Continuously improve models and performance through iteration, monitoring, and retraining.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a relate field.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in predictive modeling and experimentation.
• Proficiency in Python or R, along with SQL.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow).
• Strong understanding of statistical testing, causal inference, and experimental design.
• Ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with tools like Jupyter, Git, and BI platforms is a plus.
