Role Description: This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Support Officer located in Amman. The Technical Support Officer will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to clients for issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. Daily tasks include troubleshooting problems, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, providing timely customer support, and maintaining effective communication with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Administer the daily technical support issues (Service Desk & Incident management) according to our policies and procedure.
Provide remote and on-site support for users across different departments.
Handle IT onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup, access provisioning/removal, and equipment handover coordination.
Participate in systems and software Quality Assurance before final release.
Contribute to a culture of customer centricity and continuous improvement within the IT department.
Manage the knowledge center and databases.
Generate regular reports on IT assets, support metrics, and compliance.
Qualifications and skills:
Bachelor or diploma degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
From 1 to 3 years of experience in a technical IT support role.
Prior experience in a technical support, help desk, or desktop support role is typically required.
Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
