The Role

We are looking for a Graphic Designer with a sharp eye for composition and a hunger to learn. In this role, you will be the visual engine behind our Live-Ops and Marketing efforts. You won't just be making static images; you will be creating the banners that announce our biggest tournaments, designing the in-game pop-ups that drive engagement, and collaborating with our UX/UI team to ensure every visual element feels native to the Jawaker experience.

You must be a technical creative. Someone who can switch styles on the fly, organize files immaculately for developers, and adapt to the evolving workflows of a mobile gaming studio.

What You'll Do

• Live-Ops & Marketing Art: Design high-impact promotional banners, social media assets, and app store visuals that capture the excitement of our daily tournaments and seasonal events.
• In-Game Content Creation: Create production-ready assets for the game, including pop-up notifications, event badges, store bundles, and assets for our digital "clubs" and collectables.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the UX/UI team to maintain visual consistency across the app, and partner with the Development team to ensure assets are exported correctly and implemented without quality loss.
• Style Adaptation: seamlessly adapt your design style to fit the specific branding of different games within our portfolio.
• Asset Management: Maintain a clean and organized workflow, ensuring files are easy for other team members to access and edit if necessary.
• Iterative Design: Be open to feedback and iterate quickly, using both Art Director guidance and historical performance data to maximize player engagement.

What We’re Looking For

• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a solid understanding of composition, typography, color theory, and digital design. (Bonus points for gaming-related work or mobile app marketing).
• Technical Mastery: Proficient to Expert level in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. You know your way around artboards, smart objects, and efficient masking.
• Eager to Learn: You have a "student mindset." You are excited to learn new software, adopt new production pipelines, and absorb knowledge from the senior art team.
• Adaptability: You are comfortable shifting gears quickly moving from a corporate presentation deck to a fun, cartoony game event banner in the same afternoon.
• Team Player: You are open to constructive criticism and ready to collaborate with non-artists (developers, project managers, live-ops officers, data analysts) to achieve the best results for our products.
• Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills to explain design choices and collaborate with remote or local team members.
