The Marketing and Event Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing marketing campaigns and events that enhance brand visibility, engage target audiences, and drive business growth. This role combines creative marketing strategy with hands-on event management to deliver high-impact experiences both online and offline.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to promote products, services, or initiatives.
- Manage digital marketing activities, including social media, email marketing, and online advertising.
- Create engaging content for marketing materials, website, and social platforms.
- Support the development of marketing collateral such as brochures, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure consistent brand messaging.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance using analytics tools and recommend improvements.
Events
- Plan, organize, and execute corporate events, trade shows, conferences, product launches, and community activations.
- Develop event concepts, themes, and schedules in alignment with marketing objectives.
- Manage event logistics including venue selection, vendor coordination, budgeting, and on-site execution.
- Oversee event registration, communications, and post-event evaluations.
- Collaborate with partners, sponsors, and stakeholders to maximize event impact and reach.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in marketing, events, or related roles.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Ads, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Canva)
- Experience managing vendors, budgets, and timelines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to travel and work occasional evenings or weekends for events.
