Backend Developer Engineer – Omani Nationals Only

About the Role

Classera is looking for a Backend Developer Engineer to build and maintain reliable backend services that support our education technology platforms. You will collaborate with engineers and product teams to deliver secure, scalable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and application features.
• Design and optimize database queries for performance and reliability.
• Integrate internal applications with third-party services.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve software defects.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product teams.

Requirements

• Omani nationality is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in backend development.
• Experience with a backend programming language and framework.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, relational databases, and object-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively.
