What is the role?

Silkhaus is seeking a highly organized and quality-driven Housekeeping Manager to lead the development of our internal cleaning operations. This role will begin with managing external cleaning vendors and ensuring exceptional cleaning quality across all units. Over time, the supervisor will be responsible for building Silkhaus’ in-house cleaning team, establishing high operational standards, and creating efficient cleaning processes and documentation.

This is a key position that will contribute directly to guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and overall brand reputation.





What You’ll Do:


Cleaning Quality & Vendor Management

  • Oversee daily performance of external cleaning vendors to ensure all units meet Silkhaus cleaning and hygiene standards.
  • Conduct routine inspections of properties and provide feedback to vendors for corrective actions.
  • Monitor turnaround times, check-out cleaning efficiency, and deep-cleaning schedules.
  • Track and report vendor performance metrics and escalate issues when necessary.

Building the In-House Cleaning Team

  • Lead the transition from external cleaning vendors to an in-house cleaning team.
  • Identify staffing needs and participate in sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews.
  • Support the onboarding, training, and performance evaluation of new cleaning staff.

SOPs & Standards Development

  • Develop comprehensive cleaning SOPs, checklists, and quality inspection guidelines.
  • Standardize cleaning processes across all units to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Train internal staff on updated procedures, safety policies, and Silkhaus standards.

Linen & Inventory Coordination

  • Manage linen inventory levels, rotation, replenishment, and organization.
  • Coordinate with laundry service providers to ensure timely delivery and quality output.
  • Conduct periodic audits of linen, cleaning supplies, and equipment.

Operational Coordination

  • Work closely with the Operations, Maintenance, and CX teams to align on daily operations and priorities.
  • Assist with scheduling cleaning assignments and ensuring timely unit readiness for check-ins.
  • Support quality audits and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.


Who You Are


  • Proven experience in housekeeping supervision, facilities management, or hospitality operations (preferably in short-term rentals or hotels).
  • Strong understanding of cleaning standards, housekeeping workflows, and vendor coordination.
  • Experience in team building and staff training is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining premium-level cleanliness.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • UAE driving license is must for site mobility and operational visits.
