Senior DevOps Engineer (Lead-Track) - Remote

We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and evolve our infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and release practices. You'll work closely with our Backend, Frontend, Mobile, and QA teams in an Agile/Scrum environment, supporting a multi-stack engineering organization (.NET, Angular, and React). This role has room to grow into a Lead capacity-stepping in to guide junior engineers, drive technical decisions, and represent DevOps in cross-functional planning when needed. 

What You'll Do 

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across GitHub Actions (or equivalent) for multiple application stacks 
• Manage and optimize our Azure and Alibaba Cloud infrastructure alongside on- premises systems in a hybrid environment 
• Own infrastructure-as-code practices (e.g., Terraform, ARM/Bicep) for provisioning and configuration management 
• Improve deployment reliability, rollback strategies, and staging/production release 
• workflows 
• Collaborate with the Engineering team on GitHub repository structure, branch strategy, and PR/release automation 
• Monitor system health, set up alerting, and lead incident response and root-cause analysis 
• Implement and maintain security best practices across infrastructure, secrets management, and access control 
• Manage environment provisioning and access (GitHub seats, cloud resources) for onboarding/offboarding 
• Partner with Jira/GitHub integration workflows to keep project tracking and deployment status aligned 
• Mentor engineers on deployment practices and step into a technical lead role on infrastructure initiatives as needed 

What We're Looking For :

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles 
• Solid, hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, VMs, networking, storage, Azure DevOps or equivalent) 
• Solid, hands-on experience with GitHub (Actions, repo management, PR workflows, branch protection) 
• Solid, hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines 
• Solid, hands-on experience with Docker (containerization, image management, orchestration) 
• Experience working with Alibaba Cloud environments and integrations 
• Experience integrating DevOps workflows with Jira (issue tracking, release/deployment status alignment) 
• Solid experience managing on-premises/hybrid infrastructure alongside cloud

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep) Scripting ability (Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar) for automation 
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar) 
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum teams and collaborating across Backend, Frontend, Mobile, and QA disciplines 
• Strong communication skills - able to explain infrastructure decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
