Job brief:
The Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives to promote our scientific research services in pharmaceutical and life sciences research, as well as food analysis. This role requires extensive experience in scientific research or healthcare industries and a proven ability to drive marketing campaigns that deliver measurable results. The Marketing Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including scientific operations, sales, and executive leadership, to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic goals and industry standards.
Job tasks:
Strategic Leadership:
• Develop and lead comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive business growth, and establish the company as a leader in pharmaceutical research, life sciences, and food analysis.
• Conduct in-depth market research to identify opportunities, industry trends, and competitive dynamics.
• Partner with senior leaders to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives and product development goals.
Campaign Management:
• Lead the planning and execution of high-impact marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital marketing, trade publications, conferences, and industry events.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create integrated marketing campaigns that effectively communicate our expertise and services.
• Evaluate campaign performance metrics and refine strategies to optimize ROI and achieve marketing goals.
Content Creation and Oversight:
• Direct the creation of high-quality marketing materials, including white papers, case studies, brochures, newsletters, press releases, and website content.
• Manage the company’s online presence, including scientific blogs, social media, and email marketing, ensuring content is scientifically accurate, engaging, and compliant with industry regulations.
• Maintain consistency in branding, messaging, and positioning across all marketing platforms.
Team Leadership and Development:
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
• Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews for the marketing team.
• Encourage continuous learning and professional development to keep the team updated with the latest marketing trends and technologies.
Budget Management:
• Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize impact.
• Monitor and report on budget expenditures, making adjustments as necessary to stay within budget while achieving marketing objectives.
Partnerships and Networking:
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including scientific communities, industry partners, and media contacts.
• Represent the company at high-profile industry conferences, trade shows, and scientific meetings, showcasing our capabilities and services.
• Develop and nurture strategic partnerships to enhance the company’s market presence and credibility.
Reporting and Analytics:
• Track, analyze, and report on key marketing metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Utilize data-driven insights to refine and improve marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on marketing performance, campaign effectiveness, and market trends for executive leadership.
Job Requirement:
➢ Must-Have:
1. Bachelor’s degree with a scientific background, further studies in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
2. At least 7 years of experience in scientific research marketing, particularly in pharmaceutical, life sciences, and food analysis industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of SEO/SEM, content marketing, and social media marketing within the scientific community.
4. Experience with budget management and financial reporting.
5. Creative and innovative thinking to address marketing challenges and opportunities.
6. Proven track record of managing successful marketing campaigns and driving business growth in the scientific research sector.
7. Proficiency in marketing software and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM software, marketing automation tools).
8. Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
9. Excellent communication and presentation skills are required, with the ability to clearly and effectively engage the scientific audiences.
10. Strong analytical and project management skills.
11. Understanding of the scientific research landscape and industry-specific marketing strategies.
12. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
