Terre des hommes - Lausanne is seeking a qualified HR/ Finance Intern based in Beirut.



Job Purpose / Main Functions:


Tdh-L is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated HR/Finance Intern to support both the Finance and Human Resources departments in organizing, scanning, and archiving financial, administrative, and HR-related documents. The intern will assist in maintaining efficient documentation and filing systems and provide day-to-day administrative support to ensure smooth departmental operations.



Main Responsibilities:


Document Management and Filing:

• Scan financial, administrative, and HR-related documents accurately and ensure digital files are properly named and stored in the appropriate folders.

• Organize and archive hard copies of documents such as contracts, personnel files, invoices, and other official records in accordance with internal filing systems.

• Assist in maintaining systematic, up-to-date, and accessible filing systems (both hard and soft copies) for audit and reference purposes.

• Ensure all sensitive financial and HR documents are handled confidentially and stored securely.

• Support in reviewing documentation for completeness and compliance with internal standards.

• Assist in retrieving documents for internal use, audits, or reporting purposes.


Administrative Support:

• Provide general administrative support to the Finance and HR teams as needed.

• Perform other related tasks as assigned by supervisors in the Finance and HR departments.



Qualifications and Requirements:


• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality and discretion.

• Familiarity with document management practices and office equipment (e.g., scanners, printers).

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and scanning tools.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
