Full Stack Engineer

As a Full Stack Engineer at WUDUH, you will support the Research and Development department in its daily efforts to make a lasting impact on communities. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional, eager to learn and grow as we continue to expand our mission.

What you'll be doing:

• Collaborate with team members to design and implement scalable applications.
• Develop and maintain server-side logic and ensure the performance and responsiveness of applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code across the full stack.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and integrating feedback into your work.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring optimal application performance.
• Engage in unit and integration testing to maintain high code quality.
• Document code, processes, and API specifications for future reference and onboarding purposes.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance skills and contribute to team growth.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Extensive experience in software development and scripting
• Strong experience in at least one backend framework (e.g., PHP, Node, Python)
• Strong experience in at least one JS framework (e.g., Vue.js, Node.js, React.js)
• Strong experience in CSS and JavaScript
• Strong experience in unit and integration testing
• Strong knowledge of exposing and consuming REST APIs and GraphQL
• Experience with API documentation specs (e.g., Swagger)
• Strong knowledge of web security techniques and best practices
• Experience in software design patterns and software architecture methodologies
• Strong knowledge of version control tools such as Git
• In-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, Elasticsearch)
• Experience with Docker
• Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
